MARKS AND BRANDS

NOTICE:  Marks and brands currently on file in Grimes County will expire on August 30, 2021.  This office will begin accepting renewals on your brand Tuesday August 31, 2021. You will have thru Tuesday, March 1, 2022 to re-register your brand, thus extending the effectiveness for an additional ten (10) years.  If you do not re-register your brand by March 1, 2022, your registration becomes “void” and will be open for registration to any person desiring to record that brand in their name.  We will welcome new brand registrations at any time but they will still have to be renewed every ten (10) years beginning on August 31, 2021. Letters were mailed out to all brand holders with the application to renew their brands. If you have not received a letter please call our office at 936-873-4410.
